What do we do?
CKT assist our clients in compliance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information duties and obligations. We assist in the review of documentation, whether that is an employee’s personnel file or a patient’s medical record in order to advise our client on the precise documentation to be furnished.
Our Employment team members draft policies for data controllers to provide to their employees to ensure that compliance is companywide. In addition, we advise on a day-to-day basis in relation to the security and maintenance of individual’s personal data.

CKT advises Public and Private sector clients in respect of the obligations pursuant to the Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation.
It can be sometimes daunting process for an employer to receive a data access request from an existing or past employee, for example. CKT works with our clients to ensure compliance with the legislation in a simple straightforward and user-friendly way. We adopt a hands-on approach to ensure the best possible service for our clients.
