Corporate Social Responsibility

Comyn Kelleher Tobin LLP has throughout its history sought to achieve the firm’s business objectives of providing the best legal advice to our clients, while acting as good corporate citizens in our community.

At CKT, we believe that people working together have the power to do great things. As a team we regularly take part in fun runs, marathons, 5km and 10km walks and runs such as the Grant Thornton 5K, coffee mornings hosted in our office and many other events to raise awareness and much needed funds for various charities.

In particular, our fundraising has focused on the Irish Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Ireland, Cork City Children's Hospital Club and Marymount Hospice. We have also raised funds for the the Children’s ward of the Cork University Hospital and Pieta House.

CKT also has members of independent human rights organisation FLAC (Free Legal Advice Centres).

Collectively, CKT sponsors an award for Law Students in UCC’s LLM by major thesis or PhD studies. We were one of the original IRLII sponsors and we regularly sponsor a number of charitable events.

In our Dublin office, our team members include legal counsel on the Board of Directors to the Liberties Project.
