Sinead Fitzgerald

Sinead is a Partner in our Family and Child Law departments, with over 18 years’ experience as a specialist practitioner in private and public law matters. She advises on all aspects of Family Law including Judicial Separation, Divorce, cohabitation, custody, access, guardianship, and maintenance. She also has extensive experience in litigation before the District, Circuit, and High Courts.

Sinead has developed particular expertise in complex child law matters, including applications under the Child Care Act, mental health legislation, wardship, and assisted decision-making. She regularly advises on inter-jurisdictional family law issues and has a strong track record in managing sensitive and high-stakes proceedings.

A respected voice in her field, Sinead is known for her practical, solution-focused approach. She regularly provides training to professionals working in the legal and social care sectors and contributes to ongoing professional development in the area of child and family law.
