Con Barry Appointed Partner at CKT as Firm Announces Further Promotions

Comyn Kelleher Tobin LLP has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Con Barry as Partner, alongside a number of senior promotions and newly qualified solicitors. The appointments reflect the firm’s continued growth and investment in talent across all levels of the organisation.

Con Barry

Con Barry advises across healthcare, mental health and administrative law, acting in complex and sensitive statutory and regulatory matters. He appears regularly before courts and tribunals throughout Munster and Connacht and has significant experience advising on issues arising under the Mental Health Act and the Assisted Decision‑Making (Capacity) Act.

His work includes acting on novel public law and mental health matters involving vulnerable persons, procedural fairness and judicial review, as well as advising statutory bodies, including the Parole Board.

Speaking on his promotion, Con said:

“Becoming a partner is a significant responsibility, particularly in areas where the issues involved are often sensitive. I’m pleased to take on that responsibility and to continue supporting clients with clear, careful advice delivered with judgement and consideration.”

Chantal Feeney

Chantal Feeney has been appointed Senior Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. She advises insurance and commercial clients on contentious and non‑contentious matters, with particular experience in the defence of employers’ liability, public liability and motor claims.

Chantal is dual qualified in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Speaking on her appointment, Chantal said: “I’m very pleased to take on this new role and to continue supporting clients across complex litigation matters while contributing to the continued growth of the firm.”
