Comyn Kelleher Tobin Appoint New Litigation Solicitor

Comyn Kelleher Tobin (CKT), has announced the appointment of Cliona Kenny as Solicitor in the firm's Litigation and Healthcare departments.

With almost 20 years working in all areas of litigation, specifically clinical litigation and medical negligence, Cliona brings a wealth of knowledge to one of Ireland’s largest healthcare teams.

Cliona joins CKT’s senior team of litigators from the State Claims Agency where she managed a mixed portfolio of medical negligence and inquest files on behalf of several public hospitals and the clinical staff covered under the clinical indemnity scheme. Prior to this, Cliona worked on a on a variety of General Litigation cases including breach of contract, road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, professional negligence actions (plaintiff and defence), regulatory matters and employment law.

Cliona is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator.

Her extensive experience appearing before the courts dealing with complex litigation will be a great asset to our specialist areas of healthcare, insurance and litigation.”

Cliona holds a B.A. Law and European Studies from University of Limerick (UL), is a member of the Southern Law Association and volunteers with FLAC (Free Legal Advice Centres).
