Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – Cork Conference

On 20th March, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, CIArb Ireland, will host a free forum at the Clayton Hotel, Lapps Quay in Cork City Centre about Alternative Dispute Resolution.

The annual event will be entitled ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution – A Fresh Perspective’ and Chaired by The Hon. Ms. Justice Marie Baker- Judge of the Court of Appeal. Speakers include Eamon Harrington, Comyn Kelleher Tobin solicitors and Lorraine O Sullivan, Senior Counsel.

Eamon Harrington, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, is a Partner and Head of Litigation at Comyn Kelleher Tobin solicitors. Eamon is a former Chairman of the ADR Committee, Law Society of Ireland, Former Council Member, Irish Commercial Mediation Association and a CEDR Accredited Mediator. His work focuses on dispute resolution, with particular experience in handling complex high value claims, including professional negligence, clinical negligence and commercial disputes. In addition to guiding leading indemnifiers through ADR processes, Eamon is a respected Mediator and Arbitrator.

Lorraine O’ Sullivan was called to the Bar of Ireland in 1984, to the Bar of England and Wales in 1996 and to the Inner Bar in 2008. She is a CEDR Accredited Mediator as well as an experienced Senior Counsel and Arbitrator. Her practise includes general Common Law, with an emphasis on personal injuries.
