Eamon
Harrington, Partner
Eamon qualified as a Solicitor in 1988. He is a CEDR Accredited
Mediator and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
His practice focuses on commercial litigation including arbitration
and professional indemnity issues. He has a specialist interest
in employment law and has extensive experience in complex commercial
litigation. Eamon has advised individual, corporate and State clients
on matters of clinical negligence, confidentiality issues, employment
contracts, bullying and harassment and stress related claims, freedom
of information and data protection. Eamon has also acted on behalf
of liquidators and receivers, in landlord and tenant litigation
and in defamation actions.
He is also admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales. Eamon has
served on the Employment and Equality Law Committee of the Law Society
of Ireland and is a current Chairman of its Arbitration and Mediation
committee and is a Council Member of the Law Society. Eamon has
contributed to publications by the Centre for International Legal
Studies, the Law Society Gazette as well as teaching law in University
College Cork.
