Denise Kirwan, Partner
Denise qualified as a solicitor in 1994, having graduated from the University of Limerick in 1990. She joined the firm in 1995. and became a Partner in 2002. Denise works predominantly in the area of Child Protection and Welfare and her work includes advising the Health Service Executive in relation to taking children into the care system, applying for Emergency Care Orders, Supervision Orders etc. Denise has experience in appearing in all Courts in respect of children, advising in relation to adoption, wardship, child abduction, fostering, out of control children, children on criminal charges and children with disabilities / mental health conditions, and pre-school services. She has contributed to many seminars and inhouse training days in conjunction with the Health Services Executive and has also lectured on her field of expertise to the National Pediatric Network Group for Medical Professions and to the Undergraduates and Masters Social Science students at University College Cork.
